The circus has come to the small, rural town of Satburg during one of the rainiest falls on record. The large tent sits outside the town limits, like a fat toad on the county line. Overnight, flyers show up in town but no one has seen any of the circus folk put them up. No one’s seen any of them at all.
It's days away from opening night but a few curious citizens have been poking around…and going missing.

A few folks have asked around, investigating the circus as the logical cause for the missing people, but come back without answers…and changed.
It's only a couple of days until the circus’ opening night when things will likely escalate. In that time, strange people have been spotted around town. Men and women with dark glasses and black clothes, holding cameras. No one can seem to approach them before they vanish.
